Day 16

Hi

After a beautiful day yesterday, we woke to a very dull but slightly warmer morning. It was late this afternoon before the rain finally arrived. Typical Melbourne weather!
We went to the Preston Markets this morning. To get a car park is very difficult and it is probably worse on a Saturday. The fruit and vegetable shops have lovely fresh produce and there are dozens of them in a small area, so lots of competition, but all are very busy with customers. Wish we could get good quality like this all the time at home. You can buy almost anything at the markets, from food to clothes, hardware, homewares to a lot of junk. I found a lovely black cardigan which I have been looking for in Brisbane without any luck.

After the markets we went to Scott and Courtney's, then went to St Kilda for lunch. The restaurant was overlooking the water. Unfortunately with the weather as it was today it wasn't perhaps as nice an outlook as it would be on a nicer day but the food was delicious.

Sohpie also enjoyed her lunch.

As we headed back to Coburg, the rain got heavier, and it's still steadily raining tonight.

That's it for today.
Till next time, Cheerio and love from

Lesley and Peter.
