We had an earlier start this morning as we were looking after Sophie today. It's still dark at 7am, so very hard to get out of bed, especially on the coldest July morning in 15 years. It was 1 degree and we had to scrape the ice off the windows of the car. This was the start of the sunrise on the way.
Sophie has had a few sleepless nights as she has a cold, very sniffly and teething. She was very good for me today and had 2 good sleeps and she was very happy. Peter went to Docklands to the Fox Collection of Lindsay Fox's Motoring Museum of Classic Cars. He said he has some awesome pictures of the first Mercedes Benz made in 1886, a 10 million dollar Mercedes - the only one in the world, through to the latest Ferrari F50.
Here are some Sophie photos from today. When she wakes up she is happy playing in the cot. When you go to get her out she likes playing games giving her toys to you, then you give them back, then she gives them to you and it goes on and on.
In between entertaining Sophie I cooked lasagne for dinner. She seemed to like it as she ate her plate full. After dinner, came back to the van. It was 8 degrees, and I think will be another cold night and morning. We're off to do some sightseeing tomorrow. Will decide in the morning which direction we will go.
Till next time,
Love from Lesley and Peter.
