Day 24 - Friday 10th February

Each morning I look out the window to see if there is a nice sunrise and this is what I saw today.

I didn't even have to step out of the van to take the photo.

We left Port Lincoln this morning and headed to Cowell 150 kms north on the Lincoln Highway. We thought we might stay there tonight but after lunch and a cat nap for Peter, we decided to keep driving so ended up in Port Augusta. We were here last Friday night. Hans and Margrit who we have met several times already are also staying here tonight. As it is Margrit's birthday today we had a few drinks with them before dinner.
At Cowell, Peter spotted an agricultural museum, so of course had to check that out. Because Peter grew up on a farm he has a great interest in all this sort of stuff.

This is very short today as we have been travelling most of the day and of course haven't taken many photos( bit unusual). This is the view of the Flinders Ranges in the distance as we were driving towards Port Augusta this afternoon.

The temperature is still around 22*, and when there is a breeze (or wind) around it's a bit cool.
We just went to see if we would get a nice sunset, but it wasn't as good as some.

I turned around and this is what I saw in the east.
