Day 23 - Thursday 9th February

We were going to leave Port Lincoln this morning, but we decided to stay another day. We heard that the Endeavour Sailing Ship was docked here so went to look at that. It sails out tomorrow.

While we were at the wharf, a sea lion was swimming around just below us. It seemed very curious and kept swimming around as if it was showing off.
I also saw a huge stingray.

Adding to our collection of statues we have come across on our travels is this life size bronze of Makybe Diva - the only horse to win 3 consecutive Melbourne Cups. It is situated on the foreshore of Port Lincoln.

After lunch we wandered along the beach below the caravan park. This pelican allowed me to get up very close, as you can see.

The beach in this area is very rocky, so definitely not an area for swimming.

This is tonight's sunset, but the sky to the east was where all the colour was, not in the west. Again, this was taken from the caravan on the iPad.
