We went to Coffin Bay today, this is famous for it's oysters. (I wasn't even tempted to have any!) It is situated on the western tip of the southern part of the Eyre Peninsula.
We then went to the Coffin Bay National Park which has spectacular views over the water, high rugged cliffs, massive sand dunes and surf beaches. Here we strolled along the beach, and climbed up and down sand dunes.
We finished the day with a wine (or 2) with lovely German couple ( they have been in Australia for 30 years). We first met in Peterborough and are next to us here at the park. We also saw them at Coffin Bay today. They have an Adria van similar to ours, as well as a Challenger, same as ours. We also found out today that Peter and Han's birthday is the same day and Margrit's birthday is 3 days before mine. What a coincidence!!
